Be transported back in time to the foot of the cross and the heart of the Passion as Olivia portrays the women who witnessed the events surrounding Jesus’ death and Resurrection.
Dramatic presentations, small group discussion, prayer and time for reflection will be centered around Veronica who witnessed Jesus carry the cross; the women who stood at the foot of the cross; Mary, Jesus’ Mother as she helps prepare him for burial; Mary Magdalene at the tomb for the Resurrection; and Martha at Pentecost.
The retreat is similar to last year’s Lenten Retreat with Olivia, but with new elements added that will serve to deepen our faith and engagement with the spirit and message of the Passion and Lenten season.

Olivia Woodford is an actress, storyteller, founder of Healing Theatre and member of The Network of Storytellers, Int’l. She has a BFA in Theater from Boston University and has performed in regional and off-Broadway theaters and taught theatre in public and private schools and to special needs groups. Through her ministry, Bible Women Speak, Olivia tours the U.S. and internationally presenting her 6 biblically inspired one-woman plays, and facilitates retreats focused on biblical women and the cultural/historic context of 1st century Israel . She is an artist dedicated to bringing the sacred into
people’s lives.
